Dr. Jonathan Donath routinely attracts patients from around the world. Some of the most respected physicians in Westchester County and New York regularly refer patients to Dr. Donath. Many of those same doctors are treated by him.

Dr. Donath prides himself on practicing with a variety of proven techniques. Each treatment program is individually designed and prescribed for patients. Dr. Donath, who has been in private practice for more than thirteen years, provides each patient with the best quality, compassionate, and comprehensive care possible. His diversified healthcare plans are individually tailored to each specific need.

He always strives to make patients feel and function as well as possible, by trying to provide relief from their symptoms quickly. Dr. Donath aims not to just treat symptoms, but to look for the underlying cause of the problem and correct it.

Doctor Donath’s diverse group of patients range from children, to professional athletes, to senior citizens. He treats every one of them with gentle, confident and caring hands. His patients include professional athletes from MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, MLS, and the PGA and LPGA tour.

In 2015, his book- The Neck and Back Pain Solution was published. It is the first book written for lay people in the field of Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression Therapy. This cutting-edge, FDA-cleared treatment is effective for the most severe herniated discs, sciatica, degenerative disc disease and failed back surgery cases. Dr. Donath has a high success rate in helping patients who were told that surgery was their only option.

Dr. Donath is certified and specializes in the Active Release Technique (ART). ART is one of the most effective treatments available for treating soft-tissue injuries. This hands-on, non-invasive method is designed to break-up scar tissue and adhesions that typically result from repetitive stress, overuse and trauma. Dr. Donath is also experienced and certified in the Graston Technique, a patented form of instrument-assisted, soft-tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break-down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. This technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis and chronic inflammation. Some conditions that commonly improved by the Graston Technique and ART include headaches/migraines, head and neck pain, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, TMJ pain, as well as most types of tendonitis.

Dr. Donath also utilizes Cold Laser therapy, a treatment that employs specific wavelengths of light able to penetrate deep within tissue in order to help accelerate the healing process. Cold Laser Therapy can stimulate all types of cells including muscle, ligament, cartilage and nerves.

Dr. Donath is at the forefront of the Neil-Asher Technique, a revolutionary, safe, drug-free and proven treatment for frozen shoulders. It uses a unique technique to break up the fibrotic tissue in patient’s shoulders. Conventional approaches to the treatment of Frozen Shoulder often involve painful injections, months of physical therapy and/or surgery.

In addition, Dr. Donath is highly-skilled in the Diversified Technique of manual joint manipulation. This effective and efficient technique is used to restore proper movement to an injured or “stuck” joint. It is a highly useful approach to restore proper joint function.

Whether it is attending the latest pain-relieving technique seminars or reviewing current literature, Dr. Donath strives to learn more about innovations in the field—in order to be the most qualified doctor for his patients. Medical doctors continue to send their patients to Dr. Donath because he consistently gets their patients out of pain, even where other therapies have failed. Dr. Donath’s results are fast. He is experienced, trustworthy, and does not prolong treatment with unnecessary procedures.

He is a frequent lecturer at Jacobi Medical Center in New York. Dr. Donath graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic, and was the valedictorian of his class. He also has a Masters degree in Human Nutrition. Dr. Donath lives with his wife and two children here in White Plains.

Dr.Karin NeuhausDr. Karin Neuhaus graduated with honors from Plattsburgh State University in 2002, where she earned a Bachelors of Science degree with a focus on Biology and pre-medical studies. She then earned her doctorate in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College, where she graduated with honors in March of 2006.
In her fourteen years of practice, Dr. Neuhaus has developed a heightened ability to quickly and accurately pinpoint a patient’s problem area. She has exposure to countless spinal and joint injuries which has enabled her to trace most everyday aches and pains to joint dysfunction, postural imbalances, and poor lifestyle choices.

She uses a variety of techniques—diversified manipulative, activator methods, Charette extremity adjusting, soft tissue techniques such as ART, non-surgical spinal decompression therapy, nutritional counseling, and therapeutic exercise rehabilitation (including functional and corrective exercises)—to resolve pain, restore proper functionality, and train patients to maintain their new and improved function on their own.
“My mission is to give patients a more fulfilled and enjoyable quality of life by educating them on chiropractic care, healthy lifestyle choices, and the active preservation and restoration of their own health. I take the journey alongside every patient to get them out of pain, remove the underlying triggers causing the dysfunction, guide them toward developing healthier lifestyles, and empower them to return to the activities they love without the feeling of fear or fragility.”
